A thought on making
You should not expect to find your kind of people until you start expressing yourself in a way that they can understand. For me this means that I need to produce something that I find interesting, such as some generative art or an intellectual idea. Something I can make digital. I think I will look back in a few year and think that it was this single thing, making something that other can consume, that really started my social life. I’m not saying that my social life is bad now, as it’s quite easy for me to talk with strangers and make friends. But I am only locally finding friends. (Not to say that this isn’t fulfilling.) I meet people who are near to me in space and time. Making something digitally transmissive and putting it online means that it becomes the problem of algorithms to connect me with people through space and time globally.
